Kong: Survivor Instinct launch date announced with a new trailer

October 2, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer 7Levels has announced a release date of 22nd October for their recently revealed game, Kong: Survivor Instinct.  The developer has unveiled a new trailer (see below) that showcases Tiamat, another fearsome titan that will feature in the game.

Inspired by Legendary Entertainment’s Monsterverse, Kong: Survivor Instinct takes place after the events of Godzilla vs. Kong and will see players navigate a devastated city as a father who is desperately searching for his daughter.  As players explore the game’s rich environment, they’ll witness the devastating power of the titans in the non-linear world.

As players traverse the crumbling city they will be able to utilise the surrounding Monarch technology, manipulate the titans’ movements and use the monster’s destructive powers to their own advantage.  As the city collapses under the weight of the damage caused by the titans, players will experience falling structures, toxic leaks, raging fires and the pure chaos that happens at any disaster.  There will also be threats by mercenaries and other humans surviving the destruction.

This official Monsterverse story will have players stand up against the Hyenas, a mercenary group led by eco-terrorist Alan Jonah who reemerges after the events of Godzilla vs. Kong with a new villainous scheme.

Kong: Survivor Instinct will launch on 22nd October on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
