Latest Mortal Kombat 11 trailer reveals classic fighter Jade to join the roster

February 15, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a brand new trailer revealing the return of classic combatant, Jade, to the roster of Mortal Kombat 11.  The new trailer can be seen below and showcases this former assassin’s moves…

Jade made her first appearance as a playable character back in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and became a firm favourite of fans thanks to her abilities with her bo-staff and razorang.  When Jade was alive she was a master assassin that was fiercely loyal to her childhood friend, Princess Kitana.  Unfortunately this powerful assassin has been resurrected by an evil sorcerer and serves the Netherrealm as one of their undead Revenants.  However, don’t think that being dead has slowed her down, she is still a deadly character to take on.

This latest installment of the long running franchise is available to pre-order now,  those who do will receive the in-game, playable character Shao Kahn and gain access to the beta, which will be available on 28th March.

In life, Jade was a master assassin, famously known for both her loyal friendship to Princess Kitana and her iconic green attire. Now resurrected by an evil sorcerer, she serves the Netherrealm as an undead Revenant. Death hasn’t slowed Jade down, though. She still thrashes her enemies with her bo staff, razorrang, and patronising put-downs.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on 23rd April for Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
