Leifang and Hitomi coming to Dead or Alive 6

August 20, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Two of the most popular characters from the Dead or Alive universe are making a return in the upcoming Dead or Alive 6.  Both Leifang and Hitomi will add their names to the roster of fighters and will make their debut at this year’s Gamescom.  You can meet these two fighters in the new trailer below…

First seen in Dead or Alive 3, Hitomi “The Fist of Innocence” is a 20 year old expert in karate.  Hitomi takes full advantage of her speed, power and long reach and uses techniques that combine both offensive and defensive elements.

Leifang, known as the T’ai Chi Ch’uan Genius, became a fan favourite in the original Dead or Alive back in 1996.  Countering assaults with her flawless Sabaki and Inashi parries, Leifang will use her opponent’s power against them.

Also shown in the trailer (and highlighted at Gamescom) is the new stage titled Forbidden Fortune.  Taking place on an old pirate ship, this stage will be littered with the bones of the old crew on deck while crashing through to the hull will reveal hidden treasure and devious traps.

If you’re heading to Gamescom this year be sure to check out the Deep Silver and Friends booth in Hall 9 to see more of these two fighters.

Dead or Alive 6 is scheduled for release on Xbox One and Playstation 4 early 2019.
