Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz and John Cena to star in The Pact

January 10, 2017 by Ricky Church

Universal has just gained its leads for the R-rated comedy The Pact. Leslie Mann (This is 40), Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad) and WWE star John Cena (Trainwreck) will star in the comedy as parents who discover each of their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginity at prom, and launch an operation to prevent the girls from fulfilling it.

Pitch Perfect screenwriter Kay Cannon will be making her directorial debut with The Pact while Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, Eben Russell and brothers Brian & Jim Kehoe will pen the script. Hurwitz and Schlossberg will also produce the film alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver with their company, Point Grey Pictures.

The Pact is set for an April 20th, 2018 release.
