Fourteen years after the Green Goliath helped Iron Man to launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a new Hulk is coming to the MCU this year as Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany takes on the role of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. the sensational She-Hulk, for her very own Disney+ series from Marvel Studios.
The 10-episode half-hour comedy series will see Avengers star Mark Ruffalo back as both Bruce Banner and the Hulk, and Ruffalo has been chatting to Access about “passing the banner” to his on-screen cousin.
“Tatiana Maslany is frickin’ legendary as the She-Hulk,” states Ruffalo (via CBM). “I’m passing the banner onto her. There are some really good, funny, cool, long, long scenes between Professor and her. We’ve never really seen the Hulk interact with people the way he does in that show. It’ll be really interesting.”

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, and Anais Almonte and Josh Segarra in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
She-Hulk is slated for release on Disney+ later this year.
