Mark Ruffalo plays twins in trailer for HBO’s I Know This Much Is True

HBO has debuted the first trailer for the small screen adaptation of Wally Lamb’s best-selling novel I Know This Much Is True. The limited drama series stars Mark Ruffalo in the dual role of twins Dominick and Thomas Birdsey, and follows the parallel lives of the brothers in 20th century America; watch it here…

I Know This Much Is True is a family saga that follows the parallel lives of identical twin brothers in a story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness set against the backdrop of 20th-century America.

Joining Ruffalo in the cast are Melissa Leo, Rosie O’Donnell, Archie Panjabi, Imogen Poots, Juliette Lewis, Kathryn Hahn, and Philip Ettinger.

I Know This Much Is True premieres on HBO on April 27th.
