Coinciding with its digital release this week, Dark Star Pictures has shared a trailer for writer-director Dennis Iliadis’ (The Last House on the Left) upcoming horror-thriller Buzzheart.
Set in 1990s Athens, the film follows Argyris, a shy young man who is invited to meet the family of his beautiful new girlfriend Mary. But their weekend at Mary’s parents secluded home takes a dark turn when they force Argyris into a series of increasingly disturbing tests to prove himself worthy of their daughter.

Buzzheart follows shy 19-year-old Argyris, who finds himself unexpectedly dating Mary—a beautiful and enigmatic young woman seemingly out of his league.
