The original Sex Bob-Omb line-up are back with the release of the teaser trailer for Netflix’s upcoming Edgar Wright-produced anime Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
The eight-episode series is created by animation studio Science Saru, and reunites the cast of the 2010 cult-classic movie to bring the story of Scott Pilgrim and his battle of the bands and exes to life in anime form.
Alongside Michael Cera as the titular character, the recognisible voices from Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World include Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Jason Schwartzmen as Gideon Graves, Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Brie Larson as Natalie V. “Envy” Adams, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Ellen Wong as Knives Chau and Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is written by the graphic novel’s creator Brian O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski, who also act as showrunners. Check out the teaser below…
