According to Variety, Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Days of Future Past) is in talks to star in The Snowman, an adaptation of author Jo Nesbo’s bestselling crime novel, which is set to be directed by Thomas Alfredson (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
The seventh entry in Nesbo’s Harry Hole series, the plot sees the Norwegian detective investigating the disappearance of mother whose scarf is found wrapped around a snowman, which leads him to uncover a spate of similar murders.
Fassbender will be seen later this year in Justin Kurkel’s Macbeth, along with the Danny Boyle-helmed biopic Steve Jobs.
