Michelle MacLaren will no longer be directing Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman movie, with the studio releasing the following statement via The Hollywood Reporter:
“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together.”
At this time it is unknown if Wonder Woman will be delayed as a result of MacLaren’s departure, with the film currently slated for a June 23rd 2017 release date, with Gal Gadot starring in the title role.
