Scopely and Hasbro are bringing two huge franchises to their popular mobile game MONOPOLY GO! for their “Monster Mash” season. Running until 25th November, Tycoons can enjoy the global phenomenon that is KPop Demon Hunters, along with its demon-slaying and hit songs, and the iconic Ghostbusters. There are plenty of goodies to earn, and sticker sets to collect during this spookily good season. Watch the new trailer below…
During the Monster Mash season, Tycoons can enjoy that Honmoon magic with KPop Demon Hunters. Players will be able to play dynamic mini-games and immersive adventures with HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys through Seoul and the Underworld.
KPop Demon Hunters’ hit songs, “Golden” and “How It’s Done” will also feature during the season, allowing Tycoons to really get into the spirit of things. There’s also the Blocks Boutique shop filled with colourful KPop-inspired merch inspired by the film, featuring Derpy and the Saja Boys throughout the shopping experience.
Players can take up racing with HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys through the streets if Seoul before speeding into the Underworld in a showdown, and they can team up with friends to build attractions that capture the characters and moments from the film. If that wasn’t enough, there are also hidden HUNTR/X Treasures to collect at the concert.
With Ghostbusters, Tycoons can have their own supernatural adventure in New York by hunting for hidden gear, enjoying races, and help take on Gozer the Gozerian. Players can jump into Ghostbusters-themed vehicles and race around the rooftop of 550 Central Park West in the battle against Gozer.
Players can also join friends to bring Ghostbusters-themed attractions to life, with characters and iconic locations inspired from the franchise. Additionally, players can enter the Firehouse and blast through a slime-covered grid to uncover essential ghost busting equipment.
The Monster Mash event also brings two new features:
Fill Up Your Luck-O-Lantern – Tycoons will collect treats as they make their way around the board to fill up their lantern. Once enough treats have been collected, they’ll have the chance to share some sweet rewards with a friend.
Trick-or-Treat is Knocking – Go head-to-head with a friend in a fast-paced dice duel. Each roll can reveal a trick or a treat, but whoever rolls the highest will add goodies to their basket.
