Mr. & Mrs. Smith announces full cast alongside Donald Glover and Maya Erskine

December 6, 2023 by Ricky Church

Amazon has announced the full cast for its Prime Video series adaptation Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Starring Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as the titular married assassins.

Starring alongside Glover and Erskine are Paul Dano (The Batman), Michaela Coel (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), John Turturro (The Batman), Parker Posey (Beau is Afraid), Wagner Moura (The Gray Man), Alexander Skarsgård (The Northman), Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Sharon Horgan (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent), Ursula Corbero (Money Heist) and Billy Campbell (Cardinal).

Mr. & Mrs. Smith is created and executive produced by Glover and Francesca Sloane (Atlanta). New Regency’s Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer also executive produce. It is based off the 2005 action comedy which starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a married couple who do not know they are rival assassins and have to fight both each other and assassins who set out to kill them.

In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now hitched, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission every week while also facing a new relationship milestone. Their complex cover story becomes even more complicated when they catch real feelings for each other. What’s riskier: espionage or marriage?

Mr. & Mrs. Smith arrives on Prime Video on February 2nd.
