My Adventures with Superman season 3 to introduce Cyborg Superman and Jessica Cruz

May 1, 2026 by Ricky Church

It has been a couple of years since My Adventures with Superman returned with new episodes, but now we have confirmation of season three’s June 13th premiere date as well as what lies in store for the young Man of Steel as several copycats try adopting the ‘Superman’ moniker.

Showrunner Jake Wyatt revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he and his team are adapting the Reign of the Supermen storyline for the third season. That is the concluding chapter in the Death and Return of Superman trilogy where in the aftermath of his death at the hands of Doomsday several imposters arrive claiming they are Superman and try to fill the void left by his absence. Since it typically comes after Superman’s death, which has not happened yet in the show, it will be a fresh interpretation of the classic story.

The synopsis for season three reads: “Clark is ready to settle down and build a future with Lois, who’s worried about losing her star reporter status at The Daily Planet if they do so. Meanwhile, Kara, modeling herself after her Kryptonian cousin, is now on the hunt for an Earth mate and has her sights set on Jimmy, who’s now a celebrity journalist after proving aliens exist.”

The promo image showcases Cyborg Superman, one of Superman’s most dangerous enemies. Once Hank Henshaw, an accident destroyed his human form and killed his wife with Henshaw blaming Superman for their fates. He was turned into Cyborg Superman in an attempt to gain the Earth’s trust while preparing for an alien invasion. Henshaw was briefly seen in the season two finale of My Adventures with Superman, seemingly perishing after his fighter jet was shot down by Brainiac.

Superboy will also be introduced in a new take on his character, but he’ll still be the arrogant hero who enjoys pushing Superman’s buttons. John Henry Irons, also known as Steel, has been a recurring character since the first season but will play a lighter role than his role in the actual story, but Wyatt did tease if the series is renewed for a fourth season Steel will play a much larger role.

The season will also see Green Lantern Jessica Cruz make an appearance to set up the spin-off My Adventures with Green Lantern, which is still in active development and has not been officially picked up by Adult Swim.

My Adventures with Superman features the voices of Jack Quiad (The Boys) as Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee (People We Meet on Vacation) as Lois Lane, Ishmel Sahid (Jury Duty) as Jimmy Olsen and Kiana Madeira (Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair) as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.

My Adventures with Superman season three will premiere June 13th.
