Natasha Lyonne joins Marvel’s The Fantastic Four

May 16, 2024 by Ricky Church

Marvel is really stacking up its cast for The Fantastic Four. After casting Ralph Ineson as the cosmic villain Galactus, Deadline reports Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face) is the latest to join the upcoming MCU film.

There is no word on who Lyonne will play as Marvel is keeping most of the film a secret as per their usual standards. She will star alongside Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), who are playing Marvel’s first superhero family.

Also starring in the film is the aforementioned Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer and Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich in yet-to-be-revealed roles.

Lyonne is known for starring in the American Pie franchise as well as the Netflix comedy Russian Doll which she created, produced, wrote, directed and starred in. Her most recent project was Rian Johnson’s comedy mystery Poker Face, which saw Lyonne also write and direct some episodes. Season two of Poker Face is currently in production.

The Fantastic Four is being directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision) and will star Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, along with Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, and Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich in as yet-unrevealed roles.

The Fantastic Four will be released on July 25th, 2025.
