Nathan Fillion and more join season 2 of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events

June 11, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Sara Rue, Lucy Punch and Roger Bart have all signed on to appear in the second season of Netflix’s hit series Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket, a.k.a. Daniel Handler, A Series of Unfortunate Events tells the story of the Baudelaire orphans – Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil uncle Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The first season adapted the first four books in the series, with season two expected to adapt books five through to nine, and the already announced third season covering the remaining chapters of the thirteen-book series.

The first season of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is available to stream now on Netflix and stars Neil Patrick Harris (Count Olaf), Patrick Warburton (Lemony Snicket), Joan Cusack (Justice Strauss), Malina Weissman (Violet Baudelaire), Louis Hynes (Klaus Baudelaire), Presley Smith (Sunny) Alfre Woodard (Aunt Josephine), Catherine O’Hara (Dr. Orwell), K. Todd Freeman (Mr. Poe), Aasif Maandvi (Uncle Monty) and Don Johnson (Sir).
