New Coyote vs ACME spot spoofs Avengers: Doomsday

June 2, 2026 by Ricky Church

A new TV spot for the Looney Tunes film Coyote vs. ACME takes aim at the cryptic trailers Avengers: Doomsday, spoofing the line that has become one of the latest memes while teasing fans with more of Bugs Bunny’s role in the anticipated film.

Directed by Dave Green, Coyote vs. ACME sees Will E. Coyote get fed up with the ACME corporation after their devices have backfired and blown him up one to many times, forcing him to take them to court. As he and his lawyer Kevin Avery, played by Will Forte, begin their underdog legal battle, they work to uncover the decades worth of negligence behind ACME’s inventions which Bugs Bunny seems to have extensive knowledge of.

The film’s release comes years after Warner Bros. Discovery and studio head David Zaslav controversially cancelled it and several other films and TV series for the purposes of a tax write-off, angering fans and filmmakers alike. WB finally allowed Green the producers to seek other distribution which was picked up by Ketchup Entertainment.

“After decades of being blown to bits by bombs, demolished by dynamite, mangled by magnets, battered by boulders, trampled by trains, tricked by tunnels, sprung by springs, steamrolled by steamrollers, maligned by misfires, bedeviled by bungees, rattled by rockets, backstabbed by bat suits, rocked by rocket skates, upended by unicycles, quaked by quake pills, rubberized by rogue bands, and hurled headlong off every cliff in the Southwest, Wile E. Coyote (Genius) finally fights back. Teaming up with billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte), he takes on slick corporate counsel Buddy Crane (John Cena) and ACME, Inc., the profit-obsessed conglomerate behind every one of the Coyote’s chaotic catastrophes.”

Coyote vs. ACME stars Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, Tone Bell P.J. Byrne, Martha Kelly, and Looney Tunes voice actor Eric Bauza.

Coyote vs. ACME lands in theaters on August 28th.
