New Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath trailer pits RoboCop against the Terminator

May 20, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released an action packed trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath featuring an exciting showdown between RoboCop and the Terminator.  RoboCop will be one of the three brand new fighters coming with Aftermath on the 26th May. Who do you think will win this fight? Watch the video below and find out…

Next week players will be able to take to the arena as OCP’s advanced cybernetic police officer RoboCop (voiced by Peter Weller) and use his range of skills and abilities to take out all-comers.  The time travelling killing machine that is the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character from Terminator: Dark Fate) is already available as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack.  Which pop culture icon will get victory will be up to you.

Robocop is a cybernetic police officer whose primary objectives are to protect the innocent and uphold the law.  Robocop has been upgraded since the movies and he will be able to use a flamethrower, riot shield and shoulder cannon as well as his trusty Auto 9 pistol. This hero of law enforcement is voiced by Peter Weller, the actor who played the fan-favourite character in both the original 1987 RoboCop film and the RoboCop 2 sequel in 1990.

Aftermath will feature two more combatants alongside Robocop:

  • Fujin – The God of Wind, brother to Raiden and a Protector of Earthrealm. A staunch defender of all that is good, Fujin uses a sword and crossbow in combat as well as a variety of wind based attacks.
  • Sheeva – The queen of Outworld’s ancient Shokan race and a powerful four-armed, half-human, half-dragon. This master brawler is a heavy hitter, using her grappling fighting style, her faithful shield and unblockable teleport stomp to pound her opponents into submission.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will arrive on 26th May and is available to pre-order now.
