New Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer showcases Noob Saibot

March 27, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a brand new trailer showing fan favourite character Noob Saibot who will be a playable character in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11.  It’s also been announced that Shang Tsung will be one of the six playable characters coming in the Kombat Pack DLC pack.  Check out Noob’s moves in the trailer below..

Noob Saibot used to be a cold blooded assassin for years as the original Sub-Zero.  Once known by the name Bi-Han, his years of evil and violence came to an end at the hands of his clan’s enemy, Scorpion.  Since then, Bi Han was resurrected as the black-clad wraith, Noob Saibot and his soul has been stripped of all compassion and remorse.  Noob Saiboot carries out his darkest impulses using his ninja and phantom abilities.

This deadly wraith will join a large roster of playable characters, includingScorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs and Kotal Kahn.

Shang Tsung, the first character announced for the Kombat Pack DLC, was the faithful servant to Shao Khan and the host of the first Mortal Kombat tournament.  Despite being youthful in appearance Shang is an old powerful, shapeshifting sorcerer who maintains his youth by absorbing living souls.  Shang Tsung will be voiced by actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who played the character in the 1998 Mortal Kombat film.
