Ahead of its release this March, a new trailer has arrived online for director Francis Annan’s upcoming thriller Escape from Pretoria. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe and Daniel Webber as anti-apartheid activists Tim Jenkin and Stephen Lee, who in 1979 plotted to escape from the Pretoria Central Prison after being found guilty of working covert operations for Nelson Mandela’s banned ANC; watch it here…
Escape From Pretoria is the true story of Tim Jenkin (Daniel Radcliffe) and Stephen Lee (Daniel Webber), young, white South Africans branded “terrorists”, and imprisoned in 1978 for working covert operations for Nelson Mandela’s banned ANC.
