With just three weeks to go until Gran Turismo speeds onto screens, Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming racing drama
Directed by Neill Blomkamp, the film is based on the hit PlayStation video game series, and the life of British racing driver Jann Mardenborough, a teenager who fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional race car driver by using his gaming skills to win a series of competitions.
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
Gran Turismo features a cast that includes David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou.
Gran Turismo arrives in cinemas on August 11th.
