New update arrives on Fade to Silence

April 25, 2018 by Andrew Newton

The latest update is available for Black Forest Games’ survival game Fade to Silence.  Titled ‘Fear’, this latest update introduces a new region, new companions and a terrifying new threat.  A glimpse of this new threat can be seen in the trailer we have for you below…

The Pit is the new location that can be explored and is dominated by deep canyons hiding a variety of new POIs.  New gathering areas can be discovered within but this new region is far from home and must be prepared for.  Located in the center of the map is a refinery that is waiting to be explored.

Despite the new region being a tempting place to explore there is need for great caution as the new threat is a deadly one and will show no mercy, the Snow Tornado roams the canyons consuming all it touches and that goes for players too.

Two new followers come with the latest update, Ezra “The Alchemist” has good knowledge of the plants and herbs that can be found in the icy cold canyons while Gani is determined to find a way to reverse the effects the eclipse had on the planet.

Fear sees a new upkeep system implemented for the refuge.  Followers in the camp will be affected by the amount of firewood and food stored in the refuge and will start to use those resources stored in the stash.  With resources being consumed regularly it will be necessary to ensure that followers are put to work before you go off exploring.

The full change log for Fear, including bug fixes etc., can be found here.
