Tower of God: New World update brings Lilial, Giga Boss Battle and more

August 30, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble has released a new update for their collectible RPG Tower of God: New World. This latest update will give players the chance to get Lilial, a new SSR teammate, take part in in-game events and much more.  You can see more of Lilial in the new trailer below…

As part of the latest update, SSR [Golden Beast] Lilial (Green Element, Warrior, Anima) will be available to players.  As a princess of Zahard from the Lo Po Bia Family, Lilial is accustomed to being the centre of attention, but when it comes to combat she is known for her ability to summon a puma.  Players will also be able to equip her with the new Margarita Finish costume as well.

The update also brings a brand-new Giga Boss Battle.  This will be available through to 4th September and will require players to join forces to take on the powerful boss for higher scores.  Each server will receive its own score and will determine a range of rewards, including Shinsu, Coins, Master Keys and more.  Those players who attain the highest scores will receive special rewards such as Expirable Suspendiums, a Border, a Title and more.

A range of events are now available and will run through to 11th September, these include:

  • [Golden Beast] Lilial Check-in: Log into the game for 14 days during the event period to earn SSR Soulstones, Suspendiums and more.
  • [Golden Beast] Lilial Boost Mission: This rewards players with an SSR Selection Chest for completing in-game missions on three ocassions. This will offer players the chance to gain SSR [Golden Beast] Lilial.
  • Shinsu Purification Event: Purify the Supergiant Worm for Purification Points and Shinsu Purification Letters. Doing so will reward players with Normal Summon tickets, a special Title, Revolution Ore and more.
  • Until 4th September players who have reached 100 total summons will have a special Summon Viole and earn SSR+ [Thorn] Viole and various items.

Other additions with the update include the addition of Adventure Floors 101 to 105, as well as expansions to the Trial of Origin and Trial of Chaos.

Tower of God: New World is available to download now from Google Play and the App Store. A PC version is also available from Google Play Games Beta.
