Pokémon Duel gets updated with brand new features

September 5, 2017 by Villordsutch

Many years back the closest thing us ‘wannabe’ Pokémon Trainers had to being the ultimate Master Trainer – when we went outside – was a rather neat LCD, red plastic Pokédex from Tiger, Pokémon on the GameBoy and a full plastic box full of cards too; we could barely move.  Now however, players today have many ways to be a Master Pokémon Trainer on a single mobile device!  All new Pokémon Trainers have access to Pokémon Go, Magikarp Jump and Pokémon Duel, the latter of which has just received some brand new features.

Fans can find intense mobile strategy action in Pokémon Duel, where players deploy digital Pokémon figures, make strategic moves, and set figures against each other in battle as they try to reach the goal in their opponent’s territory.

New features include:

  • Room match customization: Trainers can define their own match rules
  • Halls: Halls have their own set of rules that vary from the regular league match rules and Halls will be periodically rotated
  • Team-based matches: Players will be able to periodically join one of three teams during certain events and win rewards based on their team’s performance
  • Higher level caps: A new item allows your Pokémon figure’s level cap to be raised from 5 to 10
  • Mega Evolutions: Makes your Pokémon figures even more powerful
  • Shiny Pokémon: Uniquely colored Pokémon to add to your collection

Pokémon Duel is available for download for free on the App Store and on Google Play.  For more information about Pokémon Duel, visit: https://www.pokemon.com/uk/.
