Rick and Michonne’s story is far from over in the teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live

July 21, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

AMC have used the San Diego Comic-Con to prove that there is still life in their long-running zombie franchise The Walking Dead by announcing that The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon have both been renewed for second seasons, as well as dropping the first teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which sees the highly anticipated reunion of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira’s Michonne.

Teased during the dying moments of the flagship show’s finale, The Ones Who Live will hopefully fill in the blanks of what Rick has been up to since his presumed death in season nine of the small-screen blockbuster, while also chronicling Michonne’s journey to find him. Check out the trailer below…

“The love story of Rick Grimes and Michonne is changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. Can they find each other and who they were in a situation unlike any they’ve ever known?”

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live shuffles onto AMC sometime in 2024.
