Romance comes to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery with Valentine’s Day event

February 12, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Jam City and Portkey games are bringing romance into the wizarding world of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery this Valentine’s Day with a special limited time side-quest storyline.  This limited time side-quest (starting 13th February) will see players flushed with emotion as they spend the most romantic day of the year with their crush.

This Valentine’s Day enjoy a storyline featuring Gilderoy Lockhart, the wizard most famous for his golden locks, who has tasked players and their friends with planning his Valentines bonanza. Players who have progressed to at least Year 5 Chapter 3 will need to choose their special in-game crush from six fellow Hogwarts students: Penny, Andre, Merula, Barnaby and Talbott, choose their ideal outfit and get ready for the perfect romantic night out.

During this special quest, players will be able take part in a series of fun events and bundles and gain Valentine’s Day-themed outfits, hairstyles, makeup and even a kitten Kneazle.

“The excitement of friendship turning into something more is part of student life and we’re excited to launch this romantic sidequest for players to have the chance to connect with their crush in the game. It’s something our players love,” said Sarah Wolf, game director at Jam City.

February also sees the arrival of the exciting second season of Quidditch, giving players the chance to try for the position of “beater” on the Quidditch team.

Be sure to let your romantic side show in this special Valentine’s event.
