Rosario Dawson ready for “season 2 and beyond” of Star Wars: Ahsoka

June 7, 2023 by EJ Moreno

You can’t keep a good Jedi down, or at least from wanting to return for more. The actress behind the live-action Ahsoka Tano, Rosario Dawson, is awaiting the release of her first Star Wars and is already hyped for the possibility of more Ashoka.

Speaking to Empire Magazine, the actress expressed her interest in returning to the galaxy far, far, away.

Dawson tells the outlet, “I’m absolutely putting it out into the universe. We’re joking about it, but I’m manifesting it because I feel like I helped Dave [Filoni] manifest this role. So I’m ready. I’m excited. I’m willing. I got my ice packs ready to go for Season 2 and beyond! I would not be mad at that.”

With Dave Filoni planning a film version that connects all the Disney+ “MandoVerse” series, the “beyond” Dawson mentions will presumably bring Ashoka to the big screen. Only time will tell, but Star Wars fans await the new Disney+ series patiently.

Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson as the titular Ahsoka Tano, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, David Tennant as Huyang, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth and Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati.

Star Wars: Ahsoka premieres on Disney+ in August 2023.
