Rumour: Green Lantern Corps to feature Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner

April 23, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Green Lantern Corps isn’t set to arrive until 2020, which means it’s just about far enough in the future for Latino-Review to fabricate some “scoops” that we’ll all have forgotten about by the time the movie rolls around and debunks them.

Now, we know by the title that we’ll be seeing more than one Green Lantern in the movie, and we’ve heard previous rumours that Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Guy Gardner will feature. Well, according to Latino-Review, that’s two-thirds correct, as both Hal Jordan and John Stewart are included, but it will be Kyle Rayner appearing instead of Guy Gardner.  Hal Jordan will be in the “Matt Damon age range”, while the other two will both be younger.

Given the absolutely awful track record of Latino-Review, and the fact that Green Lantern Corps is so far down the line of the DC Extended Universe, with no director or screenwriter attached, all signs point to this one being guesswork.

Which characters would you like to see appearing in the Green Lantern Corps movie? Let us know in the comments below…
