Ryan Murphy horror series Grotesquerie gets new trailer and poster

September 5, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

With just under three weeks to go until the season premiere of Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie, a new trailer has arrived online for the horror series.

The series follows Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts), a detective who teams up with a nun, Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), to investigate a series of unsettling crimes which feel like they have been committed to eerily taunt her personally.

Joining Niecy Nash-Betts and Micaela Diamond in the cast are Courtney B. Vance and Oscar nominee Lesley Manville, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Raven Goodwin, and Travis Kelce. Watch the trailer below…

In FX’s Grotesquerie, a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone—or something—is taunting her. With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan. However, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.

Grotesquerie premieres on FX and Hulu on September 25th.
