Salary Man Escape arrives on the Playstation VR

June 27, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Oasis Games have announced the release of their satirical VR puzzle game Salary Man Escape on the Playstation VR.  This VR puzzler takes advantage of the PS VR’s 360 degree perspective to create create a unique physics based gameplay experience.  The game’s launch trailer can be seen below…

Salary Man Escape is based around the theme of escaping from the drudgery of the daily grind.  Set in a noir-esque office environment filled with endless desks, monitors and keyboards, players will need to escape by considering weight and structure and moving objects to create a route to the freedom that our salary man desires.

Featuring:

  • A 360 degree perspective and freedom of movement that takes advantage of the abilities of the PlayStation VR.
  • Solve physics dependent puzzles by leveraging physics properties such as weight, balance and force.
  • 78 levels spread over 6 chapters provide over 8 hours of gameplay.
  • Each chapter adds a new puzzle mechanic thus making progression increasingly more challenging.
  • A noir-esque visual style juxtaposed with a cheerful 80’s style Japanese inspired soundtrack.

Salary Man Escape is a unique physical – dependent puzzle game. In this, players need to play a role as a worn – out salary man to solve all kinds of mechanical puzzles, so to escape from his dull life!

Over 8 hours of gameplay with 6 chapters and 78 levels of increasing complexity, featuring minimalistic, monochromatic visual style and 80’s classic Japanese music, this game you cannot miss!

Salary Man Escape is available for the PSVR in North America now via the Playstation Store.
