Samuel L. Jackson teams with Vincent Cassel for action film Damaged

March 28, 2023 by EJ Moreno

If you ever wanted a legendary cinematic duo, look no further than Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel.

The pair will team up for a new film, Damaged, an action-thriller from director Terry McDonagh. McDonagh is best known for his work on television, including Killing Eve, Better Call Saul, and Breaking Bad. Also joining the cast are Gianni Capaldi, Kate Dickie, and John Hannah.

Red Sea Media and BondIt Media Capital will finance, with Red Sea’s Roman Kopelevich saying, “Love this project. We have been involved with it for several years, and am proud to have attracted such an amazing cast and team. Can’t wait to bring it to our partners in the distribution world.”

Damaged follows a Chicago detective who goes to Scotland after an emerging serial killer’s crimes match those that he investigated five years earlier, one of which was the crime scene of his murdered girlfriend.

This marks the first time Jackson and Cassel have worked together; both actors have over 300 acting credits combined and made their names in iconic 90s films. Jackson next will be seen in The Marvels and Disney+’s Secret Invasion, while Cassel has an upcoming The Three Musketeers adaptation.

Production is underway in Scotland.
