Marvel has released the official trailer for its next Special Presentation The Punisher: One Last Kill which sees Jon Bernthal donning the skull once again as Frank Castle/The Punisher.
It is unknown when exactly in the MCU’s timeline this takes place, prior to Daredevil: Born Again’s first season or after Frank has escaped from the Anti-Vigilante Task Force’s prison in the finale, but one thing for certain in the trailer is he is far from done dealing out punishment to criminals as well as moving past his own trauma.
Bernthal has portrayed Punisher for nearly a decade following the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil and two seasons of The Punisher before his return alongside Charlie Cox in Marvel Studios’ Daredevil Born Again. He has co-written One Last Kill with director Reinaldo Marcus Green and will be joined by his Punisher co-star Jason R. Moore in the special. Bernthal will also be seen again as Punisher on the big screen this summer in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
