School kids face a robot apocalypse in trailer for Netflix series The Last Bus

March 7, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

In what looks like a cross between Attack the Block, Stranger Things and World’s End, Netflix have dropped the trailer for their 10-part science-fiction series The Last Bus, which tells the story of a group of school children who have to deal with a robot invasion during their mundane field trip.

Written and created by Paul Neafcy, and starring The Umbrella Academy‘s Robert Sheehan as the wonderfully named villain Dalton Monkhouse, check out the trailer here…

A group of mismatched students on a school trip become unlikely heroes when a robot apocalypse zaps away the rest of humanity. The 10-episode action-packed sci-fi series THE LAST BUS stars Robert Sheehan (Umbrella Academy, Misfits), Tom Basden (After Life, Plebs) and an ensemble cast of exciting new talent.

The Last Bus arrives on Netflix from April 1st.
