Despite several spy photos making their way online over the past week, Warner Bros. and DC Films is yet to release an official image of Zachary Levi in costume as Shazam in the upcoming DC Extended Universe movie. Nevertheless, the latest batch of photos from the set give us our very best look yet at the comic book-accurate costume/muscle-suit that Levi is sporting in the film; check them out here…

Meanwhile, some video has surfaced which gives us a first look at Mark Strong’s villain Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana, as he confronts Shazam and appears – unlike the comic books – to possess some kind of metahuman abilities (note the ‘Force Push’-style move he aims towards the police officers):

Shazam will see Zachary Levi starring as the titular superhero, with Asher Angel as his young alter-ego Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and Ron Cephas Jones as the Wizard. The film is set for release on April 5th 2019.
