Sideshow brings the Scum & Villainy with Greedo and Ponda Baba Star Wars sixth scale figures

August 23, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Sideshow has unveiled two additions to its Scum & Villainy collection with sixth scale figures for Bounty Hunter Greedo and smuggler Ponda Baba which are based on their appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The collectibles are available to pre-order now, priced at $280 each; check them out here…

Outfitted in the trappings of a Tatooine™ gangster, Greedo carves out a name for himself in the galaxy with a blaster and a bad attitude. This Rodian™ mercenary is distinct for his large black eyes and green, scaly skin, all the better to intimidate his targets. From the Outer Rim to the Core Worlds and every system in between, no one is safe!

Inspired by the character’s appearance in A New Hope™, this fully articulated, highly poseable Star Wars figure wears a cut and sew fabric costume, including a turquoise and cream jumpsuit, a brown vest and belt, and white boots. The Greedo Sixth Scale Figure comes with a blaster, blaster holster, and a right hand for holding the weapon. Greedo also features a pair of relaxed hands to increase display options, giving fans the opportunity to recreate his iconic scene in the Mos Eisley™ cantina as he plays it cool with Captain Han Solo™. Fans can further customize their display with an alternate left hand holding a cup of blue milk, available only as a swap-out part of the Exclusive Edition.

Inspired by the character’s appearance in A New Hope™, this fully articulated, highly poseable Star Wars figure wears a cut and sew fabric costume, including brown pants, black boots, a light gray shirt, and a bright orange jacket. The Ponda Baba Sixth Scale Figure comes with a blaster, blaster holster, and three alternate, swap-out hands featuring Ponda’s viciously clawed fingers.

Fans can further customize their display with two relaxed flipper hands, a flipper hand for wielding Ponda Baba’s modified blaster, and an alternate holster. These additional Aqualish accessories are only available as part of the Exclusive Edition of this limited figure release.
