Sin and Sacrifice expansion arrives for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock next week

March 15, 2019 by Andrew Newton

The exciting conclusion to the Season One storyline of Battlestar Galactica Deadlock arrives on the 19th March as Slitherine Games continues the epic story of Deadlock with the Sin and Sacrifice expansion.  This expansion brings a new story campaign, new radio chatter and new ships.  Watch the trailer below to see what the expansion will bring next week…

Sin and Sacrifice will provide players with a brand new story campaign spread through 11 story missions.  Set after the original Deadlock campaign and Operation Anabasis, this new campaign will see loyalties being questioned as Admiral of Colonial Fleet, Lucinda Cain, finds that not all enemies are outside the ship.

A new radio chatter system voice chat will arrive featuring over 1100 unique recordings.  Not only do these make for good listening during combat and replays but also injects a great deal more drama and tension into the knife-edge moments of combat.

Two new ships make an appearance with Sin and Sacrifice expansion:

  • Colonial Heracles – A heavy gunship from the Imperial Wars era that emphasises power over finesse.  It’s hull is a mass of armour plating and point defense turrets capable of sustaining high volume flak fields while it’s spine is lined with heavy artillery.  At the bow of the ship are a set of “doorkickers” for head to head assaults.
  • Cylon Gorgon – This is a mobile squadron support carrier featuring advanced squadron repair and support functions.  With its advanced repair platform it can perform rapid turnaround repairs for squadrons from any ship in the fleet.  It also carries a sophisticated Machine Learning Matrix that is capable of tracking a squadron and update its evasive programming in response to threats.

The Sin and Sacrifice expansion will arrive on Steam on 19th March.
