Smart Boy turns your Android phone into a Game Boy Color

Coming soon to your Android device is the rather splendid looking piece of kit called a Smart Boy!  This great retro-inspired product made by Hyperkin – and sold by Funstock – fits over your Android smartphone turning it into a Game Boy Color, allowing you to playing both Game Boy Color cartridges and even original Game Boy cartridges too.

The Smart Boy features the eight-way D-pad; two action buttons; a start and select button to bring a real authentic Game Boy experience to your classic playtime.

Within the Smart Boy is a built-in rechargeable battery pack that gives you up to five hours of gameplay and if you wish it can be recharged using your Android smartphone.

There are currently over 1600 Game Boy and Game Boy Color games in the market, such as Pokemon Blue, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Super Mario Land, Tetris and Donkey Kong, you’re bound to have endless fun with the Smart Boy.
