Sophie Turner and Asa Butterfield to star in Time Freak

April 12, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) and Asa Butterfield (The Space Between Us) have signed on to star in the romantic comedy Time Freak, which marks the feature directorial debut of Andrew Bowler and is based upon his Oscar-nominated short of the same name.

According to Deadline, the film follows “Stillman (Butterfield), a heartbroken physics student (Butterfield) who builds a time machine when his girlfriend Debbie (Turner) breaks up with him. Going back in time, Stillman attempts to fix every mistake he made to save their relationship, while dragging his best friend, Evan (Skyler Gisondo; Santa Clarita Diet), along in the process.”

Production on Time Freak is underway now, with a cast that also includes Will Peltz (Unfriended), Aubrey Reynolds (Waffle Street) and Jillian Joy (Proper Manors).
