SPOILERS: Justice League post-credits scenes revealed

November 15, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Spoilers for the post-credits scenes of Justice League follow. You have been warned…

Having recently screened for critics around the world, we can now tell readers some spoilerific secrets regarding what goes on after the credits for Justice League.

The first takes place around 30 seconds in, showing Superman and The Flash getting ready to race to the Pacific Ocean. The two wager a bet on the victor harkening back to some jokes earlier on in the film. All around, it’s an amusing sequence composed of the lighthearted and comedic elements that work within the blockbuster.

Finally, once the credits have finished rolling completely, it is revealed that Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor has escaped Arkham Asylum. The setting then shifts to a luxurious yacht where Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke enters the residing area of Lex Luthor, who mentions that evil should have a league of its own. Following Lex’s statement, Deathstroke removes his trademark helmet seemingly prepared to take up the offer and take down The Bat. It’s actually a rather tense moment (especially considering Manganiello’s intimidating physical presence in the role) promising good things to come for the DC Extended Universe.
