Stephen King adaptation The Monkey gets new red band trailer

Neon has released a new red band teaser trailer and poster for The Monkey, director Osgood Perkins’ (Longlegs) upcoming adaptation of the Stephen King short story of the same name.

The supernatural horror follows siblings Bill and Hal (played by Theo James) as they set in motion a series of disturbing deaths after discovering an old monkey toy in their father’s attic.

Joining Theo James in the cast are Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Laura Mennell, Christian Convery, Sarah Levy, Rohan Campbell, Colin O’Brien, and Corin Clark. Watch the trailer below…

When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.

The Monkey arrives in cinemas on February 21st.
