Studio Wildcard launch third ARK: Survival Evolved modding contest

September 16, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Studio Wildcard has launched the third modding contest for their hit game, ARK: Survival Evolved.  This contest will reward the amazing work that the modding community does with cash prizes of $28,000 with the Grand Prize winner earning $15,000.  A new video has been released showing a montage of popular ARK mods. Watch it below…

Back in 2015, Studio Wildcard provided the ARK: Survival Evolved modding community with one of the first custom mod editors giving access to the full power of Unreal Engine 4 tools and development resources.  Since then there has been a wealth of mods created and distributed among the ARK community.

Those interested in taking part in the contest, whether working individually or as a team, can visit ark.gg/ModContest to get started and get progress on the voting phase.  ARK mod creations need to be submitted during the five week entry phase and this is followed by a two week voting phase.

If any of you have a great idea for a mod and and what to get started with modding then follow the “How To Mod” tutorial, join the ARK community and take part in the Unreal Engine ARK Modding forum.

The third ARK: Survival Evolved modding contest is open now.
