Suicide Squad star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje won’t appear in James Gunn’s film

October 15, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Suicide Squad star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who played the DC villain Killer Croc in the David Ayer directed film, isn’t expecting to reprise his role in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

In a statement given to Yahoo Movies, Akinnuoye-Agbaje said, “I don’t think I need to [do it again], to be honest. “I did it, I enjoyed it, it bought me a Bentley and I will keep moving on.”

Despite the mixed reception of Suicide Squad critically – although being a financial success at the box office by earning $747 million worldwide – Akinnuoye-Agbaje stated that the criticisms doesn’t bother him.

“To be quite honest with you, I think I went on to something quite quickly afterwards,” he says. “Particularly with that kind of genre movie, I don’t take the criticism or reactions too seriously. It’s supposed to be just fun.”
