Prime 1 Studio has unveiled its quarter scale Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Real Elite Masterline Series statue, which is inspired by the appearance of Kara Zor-El in Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s 2021 DC comic book miniseries – the inspiration for this year’s Supergirl movie from DC Studios. The comic that inspired the second film in the new DC Universe, “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” joins the Real Elite Masterline series.
Struggling with her identity and sometimes driven by her emotions, Supergirl continues moving forward. This statue is inspired by writer Tom King’s deeply human portrayal of Kara Zor-El. Scenes from the planets she visits are brought together in a collage, recreating the road-movie atmosphere of her journey in 1/4 scale.
Her dramatic cape spreads outward with an ethereal flow, while the realistic skin tones evoke a sense of warmth. Her quietly floating presence has been created by combining the artistry of Bilquis Evely with the techniques of the Real Elite Masterline. The result presents a new interpretation with an appeal distinct from both the comic and its live-action adaptation.
The specially designed base weaves together imagery from various cover artworks. Ruthye waits for the space bus with her sword in hand, surrounded by drifting clouds of galactic gas and drooping alien plants. Each element has been carefully sculpted, while the vivid colors inspired by Matheus Lopes evoke memories of the journey.
An additional head with closed lips and a gentle smile is also included. Use the accompanying Head Stand to enjoy displaying your preferred combination.
