TerraTech leaving Early Access and arriving on consoles this Summer

May 9, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Payload Studios has announced that after four years their award winning open world adventure game, TerraTech, will leave Early Access for a full launch this summer alongside the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions.  To celebrate the announcement, Payload Studios today revealed a teaser trailer which can be seen below…

In the far future the Earth’s resources have been depleted leaving humanity relying on prospectors to venture out into space in search of new resource rich planets.  Budding prospectors will need to explore their new world and build a variety of vehicles to send these resources back home and make themselves rich.

In TerraTech players can choose to explore an uncharted alien world to seek out new resources, craft, build and fight their way to survival or just build and explore in Creative Mode.  A variety of contraptions and vehicles will need to be built in order to survive the greed of other prospectors.  There is a near limitless variety of vehicle designs from big and powerful to small and useful and even just plain crazy.  There will be a vehicle design that will please everyone.

“This summer’s multi-platform launch of TerraTech is a huge milestone for the game, and the team. It’s been a long road to this point, and we’ve been blown away by the support and enthusiasm of our wonderful community of players. Their dedication has contributed hugely to the quality and depth of experience which we are now tremendously excited to bring to a wider audience” said Payload Studios founder Russ Clarke.
