The Animamiacs are back in first clip ahead of November premiere

October 11, 2020 by Ricky Church

They’ve been gone a long time, but The Animaniacs are set to return next month on Hulu. The first clip of the rebooted series was shown at the New York Comic-Con with a riff on Jurassic Park‘s Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm with Animaniacs producer Steven Spielberg filling in for John Hammond.

Animaniacs first premiered in 1993 and introduced audiences to the Warner family Yakko, Wakko and Dot along with a host of other characters in their segments like The Goodfeathers, Slappy Squirrel and Pinky and the Brain, two mice bent on world domination who were such fan-favourites they gained two spin-off shows.

Hulu, Amblin Television, and Warner Bros. Animation are proud to unveil a brand-new version of the iconic family-friendly cartoon series for the whole family, as the Warner siblings, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister Dot, have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet.

After returning to their beloved home, the Warner Bros. Water Tower, the Animaniacs waste no time in causing chaos and comic confusion as they run loose through the studio and beyond, turning the world into their personal playground. Joining Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, fan-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain will also return to continue their quest for world domination in each of the 13 episodes.

Steven Spielberg returns as executive producer of the series, with Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content, Amblin Television Co-Presidents Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey, and Wellesley Wild also serving as executive producers. Gabe Swarr serves as co-executive producer. Amblin Television produces Animaniacs in association with Warner Bros. Animation.

The Animaniacs will premiere on November 20th.
