Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper return to their beloved roles in The Ninth Doctor Adventures: The Rag Man, a spooky full-cast audio drama coming this December and available to pre-order now from Big Finish Productions. This is the ninth of twelve new audio adventures for the Ninth Doctor and Rose and finds the pair returning to the Powell Estate. A new promo video for this upcoming adventure can be seen below….
When Rose’s mum Jackie was a little girl, her mother told her a story about how the Rag Man would take her away with all the other rubbish if she didn’t behave herself. Jackie passed the story on to Rose when she was little, and the memory lived on. But now, a Victorian-style rag and bone cart has come to a halt in the middle of the Powell Estate, surrounded by a cloud of flies, and Jackie remembers it from what she thought was a silly little story.
The Rag Man is no longer just fiction and is already setting his sights upon the paranoid Mrs Bickerton, and he has plans to take everything Rose and Jackie have ever loved. Can the Doctor stop this supernatural rag and bone man before he causes more upset for the Powell Estate?
Joining Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper are Camille Coduri as Jackie, Amerjit Deu as Mr Ghaissi, and Lesley Joseph as the elderly and paranoid Mrs Bickerton.
Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures – The Rag Man is available to pre-order now for £9.99 (digital download) or £11.99 for the download and limited collector’s edition CD. A multibuy bundle of all twelve releases is available to pre-order at the specially discounted price of £102.
