The Transformers: The Movie Optimus Prime and Megatron Studio Series figures unveiled by Hasbro

Hasbro is marking the 40th anniversary of the classic The Transformers: The Movie as part of its Studio Series action figure line this year, and having unveiled Hot Rod, Hound and Scourge over the past few weeks, its now the turn of arch-enemies Optimus Prime and Megatron, complete with battle damage and accessories inspired by their deadly confrontation during the Battle of Autobot City; check out the official promotional images and details for the upcoming figures below…

Celebrate the 40-year anniversary of THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE with the TRANSFORMERS Studio Series MTMTE Collection Leader Class Optimus Prime action figure, designed to recreate his final moments in battle. The 7.25-inch figure converts from robot to truck mode in 40 steps. With movie-inspired details, intricate poseability, and attachable accessories like a blaster, Matrix of Leadership, and a stake, this Optimus Prime figure makes an awesome addition to any collection.

Celebrate the 40-year anniversary of THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE with the TRANSFORMERS Studio Series MTMTE Collection Megatron action figure. The 8.5-inch figure converts from robot to tank mode in 54 steps. With battle damage details inspired by the iconic battle scene between Megatron and Optimus Prime and attachable accessories like a fusion cannon, back barrel, beam saber, and blasters, this Megatron figure makes an awesome addition to any collection.
