There is no war in Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 trailer

May 21, 2026 by Ricky Church

Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation, showcasing several moments fans of the animated series will recognize including the infamous line “There is no war in Ba Sing Se” as Aang and his friends travel to the Earth Kingdom.

Season two sees Aang, Katara and Sokka in search of an Earthbender capable of teaching Aang Earthbending to help him defeat the Fire Nation. Their journey grows more fierce as the Fire Nation invades the Earth Kingdom while its capitol Ba Sing Se tries convincing its citizens there is no war in a tyrannical police state. Meanwhile Zuko and his Uncle Iroh are on the run from his sister Azula, but Zuko remains committed to capturing the Avatar in order to claim glory and return home.

The second season will premiere on June 25th, and Netflix has already renewed the series for a third and final season, following the original’s three season format, as Aang’s journey comes to its inevitable conclusion. Watch the trailer below…

In Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2, Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio), and Sokka (Ian Ousley) regroup and set off on a mission to convince the elusive Earth King to aid in their battle against the fearsome Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim), which takes them to the impenetrable city of Ba Sing Se. Along the way, Aang convinces Toph (Miyako), an audacious young master, to train him in earthbending, a skill he’ll need to eventually stop the Fire Nation. Unfortunately for Team Avatar, Prince Zuko (Dallas Liu) is still determined to capture Aang — and his formidable sister, Azula (Elizabeth Yu), has also joined the fray.

Avatar: The Last Airbender season two will premiere on Netflix on June 25th.
