Tilda Swinton set to reteam with Snowpiercer director Bong Joon-ho

October 4, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Tilda Swinton (Trainwreck) is set to re-team with acclaimed Korean director Bong Joon-ho for a future project, Variety reports.

Swinton and Joon-ho previously worked on the hit action-thriller Snowpiercer. Released in 2013, the film was a huge international success, though criminally it is still to receive a release in the UK.

Speaking at a press conference at the Busan International Film Festival for her latest film A Bigger Splash, Swinton said: “I’m already planning more adventures with Bong Joon-ho. He is a great master like Luca Guadagnino.”

As well as Joon-ho, Swinton has now worked twice with Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, who is behind Splash as well as the duo’s previously collaboration I Am Love, released in 2009.

A Bigger Splash is one of the gala presentations at the Busan festival, and debuts in the UK at this month’s London Film Festival.
