Tom Cruise says he “loved” Tenet as he shares trip to London screening

August 26, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Christopher Nolan’s new film Tenet has gotten a thumbs up from Hollywood icon Tom Cruise with the actor saying he “loved” the movie.

Tenet is first major release since cinemas have reopened with many film fans and admirers of Christopher Nolan looking to make the movie their first since lockdown.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise seems to have had the same idea as the actor has shared a video of himself going to an early screening in London. Sharing the video to his Twitter, Crusie said: “Big movie. Big screen. Loved it.”

The video documents his journey through London to the screening, including the actor’s surprise at getting recognized despite the fact that he was wearing a mask: “How does that happen, I’m wearing a mask?”

Once Tenet was finished and the credits rolled, the audience started to applaud the movie with Crusie remarking: “Great to be back in a movie theatre everybody.”

A fan asked Crusie what he thought of the film on his way out and he responded: “I loved it.”

Not a bad stamp of approval for Nolan’s latest and it certainly sounds like Cruise was happy to be back at the cinema and watching films on the big screen.

Tenet is now playing in cinemas across the UK.

Armed with only one word – Tenet – and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real-time. Not time travel. Inversion.

Tenet sees Christopher Nolan directing a cast that includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
