Tom Hollander cast alongside Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan in A Private War

November 24, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) has been cast alongside the previously announced Rosamund Pike and Jamie Dornan in the independent drama A Private War.

The film is being directed by Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land, City of Ghosts) and stars Pike as American-born British war reporter Marie Colvin, exploring her dangerous assignments in conflict zones such as Chechnya, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Filming on A Private War began this week in Jordan, and will shift to the UK in the New Year. Arash Amel has penned the script from Marie Brenner’s 2012 Vanity Fair article ‘Marie Colvin’s Private War’, while Basil Iwanyk, Marissa McMahon and Charlize Theron serve as producers.
